The Opportunity

As our Production Manager, your mission is to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality. You'll oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensure targets are met, and drive team performance. In this role, you'll be responsible for team management, equipment oversight, and ensuring production schedules are followed closely.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate production schedules, ensuring that production targets are consistently met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Drive Accountability and Performance: Set clear expectations for the team, hold team members accountable for adhering to procedures, and recognize achievements.
  • Ensure Team Training and Competency: Oversee training programs to ensure all team members are fully competent in their roles, identify skill gaps, and coordinate additional training as needed.
  • Maintain a Safe, Compliant, and Organized Work Environment: Promote a culture of safety and cleanliness, ensuring that the production area remains "tour-ready" at all times and compliant with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications (Hard & Soft Skills):

Hard Skills:

· 5+ years of CNC machining and production management experience.

· Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, tool selection, and program optimization.

· Proficient in production scheduling and resource planning.

· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma a plus.

· Ability to program complex parts using CAM software preferred.

Soft Skills:

· Strong leadership and communication abilities.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to manage time and resources effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Proactive mindset with a strong sense of accountability.
