Compensation : $205,000 - $220,000 per year + Full Benefits

About the Role

Our client, a Fortune 200 company with $18 billion in revenue, is seeking a Manufacturing Site Director for their Eastern Wisconsin dairy facility near Sheboygan. This 24/7/365 milk receiving and cheese production site also produces sweet whey powder.

The Manufacturing Site Director will provide overall direction for the plant, focusing on safety, quality, sanitation, cost, customer service, and people development. This role requires strong leadership and change management experience to drive cultural transformation and business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, sanitation, cost, and customer service.
• Drive performance improvements to meet business targets and support the Dairy Foods division's growth.
• Develop a collaborative, high-performing culture through coaching, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Oversee union environments, including contract negotiations and employee/labor relations.
• Manage the financial and budgetary performance of the site.
• Implement manufacturing transformation initiatives to deliver cost savings and improve culture.

Qualifications

• Experience :
  • 10+ years of progressive food or beverage manufacturing experience.
  • Proven leadership managing managers and delivering sustainable results.
  • Experience in large company environments; manufacturing focus required (not food assembly).
  • Union experience, including contract negotiations and labor relations.
• Education :
  • Undergraduate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with strong food manufacturing experience acceptable.
• Skills :
  • Strong change management and manufacturing transformation experience.
  • Knowledge of financial and budgetary management.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.
